      Summer is a lively and busy season. Recently, the West Dongting 100MW/200MWh Energy Storage Power Station and Yuanjiang Xinwan 100MW/200MWh Energy Storage Power Station projects in Hunan Province have successively passed the acceptance of the power supply department and have welcomed full capacity grid connected power generation. These two energy storage EPC projects are provided by CRRC Zhuzhou, and they adopt the liquid cooling temperature control solution and products of Xiangbo Heat Transfer, which is another widespread application case of Xiangbo Heat Transfer's technology and products in the energy storage field.

      In recent years, with the continuous deepening of China's policies and practices to implement the "dual carbon" goals, the proportion of new energy sources such as photovoltaics and wind power has continued to increase, and the demand for flexible resources in the power system has become increasingly urgent. Energy storage power stations have the function of flexibly adjusting resources and have become the best "buffer" and "shock absorber" for achieving incomplete real-time balance of energy and electricity and efficiently addressing prominent problems in new power systems. They have developed rapidly in recent years.

      The temperature control system is related to the operational safety and efficiency of energy storage power plants, and is a key component of the energy storage system. The efficient and reliable battery thermal management system independently developed and designed by Xiangbo takes away the heat generated by the battery through convective heat exchange of energy storage water sheets. The liquid cooled temperature control unit adopts a full frequency conversion design, and the compressor, fan, and water pump are continuously variable speed adjusted according to the usage scenario. The entire system maintains optimal energy efficiency operation and is highly efficient and energy-saving throughout the year; Intelligent control, based on the operating status of the battery cell temperature control system, when the battery cell temperature is low, the system enters standby mode to achieve maximum energy savings; The refrigeration capacity ranges from 3KW to 60KW, which can meet the temperature control needs of energy storage systems in various scenarios such as containers and outdoor cabinets.



West Dongting 100 MW/200MW Energy Storage Power Station Project

The project is located on the south side of the Tujiahu 220kV substation of the State Grid on Nongken Avenue in the West Dongting Management District of Changde City, Hunan Province. The energy storage type is electrochemical energy storage, with a total investment of 500 million yuan and an area of 16200 square meters. After the project is constructed and put into operation, it can achieve an annual peak shaving power of 48390.70 MWh, which has good economic benefits. It has a positive significance for further improving the clean energy consumption and power supply guarantee capabilities of the Changde West Dongting area, promoting high-quality economic and social development in the local area, and accumulating valuable experience for the development and construction of energy storage projects of the group company.

Yuanjiang 100MW/200MW Energy Storage Power Station Project

The project is located in Lianhua Village, Xinwan Town, Yuanjiang City, Hunan Province, covering an area of approximately 30 acres. It has a construction energy storage capacity of 100MW/200MWh and a total investment of approximately 450 million yuan. After the project is put into operation, it can transmit no less than 200000 kWh of electricity to the local power grid in Yuanjiang every day, making it an excellent research project by the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Hunan Province. The project only took 82 days from pre construction preparation to full capacity grid connection, breaking the industry's construction speed.
